ЧАЙХОНА №1 Restaurant
The name of the restaurant means “Tea Room” in Tajik. This restaurant is great for a friendly or family reunion. I was a bit uncurious at first, as this place is located inside a mall, but I was very happy when I left at the end of the evening!
The food is delicious and varied (a great place for vegetarians), and the space itself is very warm and cozy. You can sit on their big couches or comfy armchairs. There is also have a huge terrace with a view of Ploshad Vosstanya. It’s especially agreeable outside when it’s above 20ºC, but they have blankets for when it’s a little chillier.
I could recommend you a couple of dishes from the menu like баклажан биштак (RUB 450), табуле (RUB 330), наполеон (RUB 325), морковный торт (RUB 260). Moreover, try their shisha. There is a shisha “sommelier” that will help you choose between the many kinds of shisha they have. I had the pineapple and mint one and I loved it. It was sweet and fresh and not too heavy. Definitely will go back to try some more things from their menu, including their delicious desserts.
