Café Циферблат-Where time is money

Café Циферблат-Where time is money
24 July 2014

The Café Циферблат in Moscow is a place of refuge for those who want to escape from the frantic hustle and bustle of the city. In here time literally stands still, even if you have to pay for it.

In the backyard of the building ulitsa Pokrovka No. 12 you will find a door with a clock face on it. Ring the bell and they’ll let you in. You will enter a cozy room with a home-like atmosphere.

Here you can work, play games with friends or just hang out. They have dozen of board games, free wi-fi and large tables for working and studying.

When you arrive your name and time is written on a board, when you leave you pay for each minute you stayed – 2Rbl per minute, which is 120 Rubles per hour. Not that much if you consider that you can help yourself to tea, coffee and biscuits from their little kitchen and you are welcome to bring in your own food too. As an extra you will certainly meet new people and maybe this could be the beginning of a new Russian friendship.
