Listening Practise at the Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre
Listening to Russian outside the classroom can feel difficult. People often speak quickly. In addition, everyday conversations do not always follow the vocabulary found in textbooks.
The Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre offers another way to practise. You can hear Russian while enjoying a cultural evening in the city.
I recently saw the theatre’s summer programme outside the building. It includes performances in June, July and August. I have already booked a ticket for Убийство в Восточном экспрессе (Murder on the Orient Express), and I am very excited to go.

How does theatre help you practise Russian?
