St. Petersburg Fashion Week 2014
With its streets flooded with chic and stylish individuals, is it any wonder that St. Petersburg is considered not only the cultural, but also the fashion capital of Russia? Every year, fashionistas from around the world flock to the city to catch a glimpse of the year’s upcoming trends and emerging designers. There is, of course, an emphasis on fresh local talent, but established international designers are also included, which makes for some striking contrasts.
This year, style fans will have the chance to preview the Spring/Summer 2015 collections of their favourite brands and mingle with some big names in the world of fashion. Local schools will also be taking part in the proceedings, presenting the work of design students, and even planning their own catwalk shows.
The event will take place between the 2nd and 5th October, so if you’re in the city, be sure to keep your eyes peeled and you might even pick up a few style tips of your own!
