I can’t believe how quickly my month in Moscow has gone! It seems like just yesterday that I nervously came to my first class! The time has flown by, but it was one of the funnest and busiest months of my life!
My time at Liden and Denz has been fantastic. I don’t have space to give all of the reasons I have loved my time in Moscow, but here are my top 3:
Language classes
When I told my friends I had signed up for a extra month of classes during my summer holidays, some were skeptical. However, my month here has been filled with fun, relaxed and interactive language learning. The teachers at Liden and Denz were excellent and my Russian has improved more than I thought possible!
Real World Practice
Being immersed in Russian language is an experience which cannot be replicated, and is such a boost to your language skills. My confidence to use Russian in everyday scenarios has grown so much while in Moscow. On the final day of my trip I found myself haggling at a souvenir market in Russian! I certainly would never have imagined being able to do that one month ago!
City Life
Studying Russian in Moscow has given me a wonderful and unique perspective on Russian culture. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning Russian against the backdrop of the beating heart of Russia’s capital city. Moscow has a wealth of things to see and enjoy. From the sunny parks, to wonderful food, historic museums and a beautiful and varied architectural ensemble, you will never be short of things to do. Make the most of every day of your stay here!
