Bar 812

Bar 812
03 August 2015

Saint Petersburg is full of great restaurants, but also bars. If you have been in Saint Petersburg for a while now, you are probably already familiar with Ulitsa Rubinsteina. But there is another nice street not too far from it – Ulitsa Zhukovskogo – that has many great bars, like Bar 812.

Bar 812 is a great stop for those of you who like cocktails (especially). The cocktails at this place are incredible, and very original. There is one with fresh basil and strawberry pureé and Absolut (RUB 420), another one with ginger and Absolut Pepper and Citron (RUB 450), or with lemongrass, cinnamon and Beefeater (RUB 450). These are the cocktails I recommend, but the choice is varied and they are all equally intriguing. I think you will also be curious to try one of their shots!

On Fridays and Saturdays the bar is open until 04h00, and it starts getting busy around midnight-ish. The DJ that was there last Friday was great.

Unless you think about going there early, I recommend you to reserve a table, otherwise you might not find a place. Might.

Address: Ulitsa Zhukovskogo, 11, Saint Petersburg.

And when you are ready to change scenes, hop over to Dead Poets Bar or Gradus!
