City Grill Express

18 December 2013

Like any cosmopolitan city, St. Petersburg has a wide variety of dining experiences. You can easily find Italian, Georgian, Russian, Japanese, Indian and even, some of the best American cuisine around. No, I’m not talking about McDonalds or Carl’s Jr,  but rather a Russian chain called City Grill Express. Coming from the United States and having had tried a lot of different hamburgers in my life, I must say that these burgers are some of the best I’ve ever had.

Founded in only 2010, the chain now has two locations around St. Petersburg and is expected to expand further. They have a wide selection of different hamburgers to choose from, each with its own unique flavors and all with fresh ingredients and grilled buns. No matter what burger you choose, the quality will very high.

If all this hasn’t convinced you to try City Grill Express yet, then I should also mention that the prices are quite reasonable. For only about 200 RUB for a burger and about 150 RUB for a beer, it makes a great place for a lunch break.
