Dve palochki – global cuisine
06 October 2015

If you already spent a few days in Saint Petersburg you probably came across “Dve palochki” (Две палочки). There are over 20 restaurants, many of them directly on Nevsky Prospect and one in front of the school, in Saint Petersburg and 10 in Moscow.

The widely spread restaurant chain is highly appreciated by locals as well as by visitors of the Russian metropolises.  Every restaurant varies in its interior design, most are modern and a slightly Asian inspired appearance but some are decorated like an American diner from the 50’s or with huge white letters. Every restaurant is unique which makes visiting different locations worthwhile – and there are many reasons why you should visit Dve Palochki more than once:

Their menu offers a great range of worldwide cuisine and they are divided into their origin. You can find everything from Falafel, Pasta and Sushi to a “Do-it-yourself” burger. Furthermore they offer a cheap and convenient business lunch where you can arrange your individual three course menu and get a free drink.

But it’s not only a great place to go when you are hungry – guests of the restaurant are also offered and extensive cocktail menu with classic and exotic drinks.

Short lunch break, evening with friends or a sweet coffee break – Dve palochki is always worth a visit and probably not far from wherever you are. 😉
