Goodbye (for now) Liden & Denz!

Goodbye (for now) Liden & Denz!
19 March 2021

Wow, where to start with! These 4 weeks in Russia have been fantastic, but my time here has come to an end and therefore also my blogposts. I have to take 2 Covid-19 tests, but if all goes well I will fly home on Sunday.

I really have to recollect my memory to remember how I filled my days. Whereas in Amsterdam, where I’m flying back home to, everything was closed and all days looked the same when I flew out, here I had the chance to go to the gym, get my hair and nails done, and not having to worry what time I would arrive home.

During my time here, I went to see the Red Square in Moscow (I arrived in Moscow and took the Sapsan train to Saint Petersburg) and was in an actual BAR for the first time in months. In Saint Petersburg I visited the Yusopov Palace, the Hermitage and to the Mariinsky theatre to the Nutcracker. I have gone out to dinner, had coffees all over town, and ate blini (or in Russian: блины) in celebration of Maslenitsa.

Of course, during weekdays I took online classes at Liden & Denz and improved my Russian. And I hope you enjoyed reading my blog posts as well.

For now, I want to thank Liden & Denz for giving me the opportunity to write about Russia and improve my Russian at the same time. Надеюсь, что еще увидимся!
