Goodbye Russia! Oli, Signing off

Goodbye Russia! Oli, Signing off
18 February 2019

After several months in Russia, it is time for me to say goodbye. I have had a wonderful time here at Liden & Denz and I have met some lovely people.

Although I had already had some experience of Russia and St. Petersburg, I still can’t help but feel like I will return to this beautiful city again. St. Petersburg has become one of my favourite cities in the world, and I will forever be drawn back to it.

I am also unsure about what the future holds. I will be continuing my studies in the UK from September next year, and I will be studying in Berlin to learn German for the second part of my Year Abroad. Studying in Russia has given me many skills that I will keep with me for life. I have never braved the winter in the same way as I have since I arrived.

In addition, working as an intern here has taught me a lot as well. I’ve become close to the other interns and I have made some close friends. Hopefully I will return to Liden & Denz soon so that I can come back to this amazing city!

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Liden & Denz team for being so warm and welcoming during my internship here!

I hope you have all enjoyed my articles and I wish you all the best! Signing off..!
