Circle of Light Festival, Moscow – September 23-27
21 September 2016

Now, what is it about? The Circle of Light Festival uses electronic art, specifically lights and video mapping, to redefine and highlight well known public spaces.  Artists from around the globe have created pieces to be judged in three categories. Featured displays will be accompanied by pyrotechnics and music. In some cases, the music is live.  Please note, my technical terms do not do the visuals justice – the shows are breathtaking!!

Moscow will be hosting multiple events at well-known locations like Moscow State University (МГУ) and VDNKh (ВДНХ)*.  Performances will be taking place from Friday, September 23 to Tuesday, September 27.

There will also be informational workshops held on Saturday and Sunday. The sessions are free; however, you do need to preregister.

You can find the entire schedule, directions, and register for workshops at the Circle of Light Festival’s website.  http://www.lightfest.ru/en/events/
