Produkti Bar

16 December 2013

St. Petersburg has seen a great proliferation of new bars and clubs popping up all over the city in the past few years. There are now so many places scattered around the city, that no matter what your preference is, there is a place for you in St. Petersburg. This weekend I had the chance to see what some might call a “hipster” bar, but all would admit has a cozy and open atmosphere. The bar is called Produkti Bar (Продукты Бар) and is located on Naberezhnaya Reki Fontanki, dom 17 (Набережная реки Фонтанки, д. 17).

The first thing you notice about the place is its size. This place is not very big, and that’s one of its best traits! You immediately feel welcomed and relaxed as you sit on one of the corner couches and listen to Viktor Tsoi over the juke box. On top of all that, the drinks are inexpensive and the bar’s trendy art deco style is quite unique for the area.

It is definitely a good place for anyone who wants to get away from the overpriced and crowded bars of the center, without having to venture to far away.
