Hello St Petersburg!

Hey everyone! My name is Jessica and I am currently studying Russian at the Liden & Denz Language Centre in St Petersburg! I am a student from Austria and live in a small village, near Vienna. I go to the University of Applied Sciences in Eisenstadt, where I am studying International Business Relations, with focus on Marketing. At the beginning of my studies, I had to choose a foreign language and I decided to learn Russian!

I already visited Russia, a short time ago. In July, our university organized a language course in Moscow, where we worked together with Russian students and improved our Russian language skills. We stayed there for three weeks – it was a very precious experience!

I am going to stay in St Petersburg for three months. I arrived two days ago and I already love this city! Beside the language course at Liden & Denz, I am working as an Editorial Assistant and prepare blogs for them, which is definitely a dream job for me. Especially due to my studies in Marketing, I am very looking forward to this work! The stay in St Petersburg offers thus a great opportunity to improve my Russian language skills and to gain work experience in a beautiful city.

In my free time, I love spending time with my friends and family. I am a very enterprising person, who loves to travel and get to know new cultures hence the trip to Russia. I also like doing sports, I regularly visit the fitness centre. Furthermore, I also love shopping and photographing. Every time I visit a foreign country, I buy a new piece of clothing and take thousands of photos. For me, this is a special memory of the places I have visited.
