From one cold city to another! Meet the newest Liden & Denz intern.
20 April 2017

Hi! My name is Liz. I am from Minnesota in the United States, and am the newest intern at Liden & Denz.

From exploring Russian history to finding great places to study, I hope to share what I find in St Petersburg with you.

This is my fourth time in St Petersburg, but my first time visiting as a student. Previously my visits to the city have been short. As well as visiting St Petersburg, I have been fortunate enough to travel to Moscow, and Petrozavodsk, in Karelia.  In Petrozavodsk I was part of a delegation of law and social work students and professors working to open discussion and collaborate on ideas for improving social work agencies in both Minnesota and Petrozavodsk.

Through these experiences my love for Russia has grown beyond just an interest in the culture and history of Russia.

I am so happy to be studying Russian in St Petersburg for the next six weeks, and continuing my lifelong quest to learn as much as I can about Russia!

I am a 25 year old Minnesotan, studying Russian at Liden & Denz. I am enthusiastic about running, making great coffee, anything Russian, and new ideas! I am so happy to be here at Liden & Denz as an intern for the next six weeks.
