An English speaking newspaper in St. Petersburg and a German speaking newspaper in Moscow have an opening for following unpaid internship:

Duties

  1. Interviewing
  2. Text writing and editing
  3. Searching the Internet for specialized and unique information that has not been published in Russia before
  4. Summary and Translation

Requirements

  • General requirements: Native English speaker, highly motivated freelance journalist with working experience (economist, lawyer, philologist, slavist)
  • Russian language level and usage: B1+; good language skills since the job may involve interviewing of Russian people, writing, translating and editing of texts and articles.
  • Working hours: full-time 8 hours per day Monday-Friday with one hour lunch break
  • Minimum age: 20
  • Possible duration: 1-6 months
